KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index today rose by 12.17 points to settle at 2,607.42, a growth of 0.46%.
A total of 9,218,810 shares of 312 companies were traded in 42,879 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs 4,681,922,814.96.
Sub‑indices for all sectors except the Hotels and Tourism, and Mutual Fund groups posted gains.
In today's trading, the share prices of Mabilung Energy (MABEL) and Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (USLB) gained 9.99% and 9.96% respectively, while among the biggest losers, the share price of First Micro Finance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (FMDBL) decreased by 7.48%.
Union Hydropower (UNHPL) recorded the largest trade by value and volume, with 710,259 shares worth Rs 3,861,552,484.40 traded today.
