KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the schedule for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), which will commence on November 17 at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur.
The opening match will see defending champions Janakpur Bolts face Kathmandu Gurkhas at 4:00 p.m., marking the start of Nepal’s most anticipated domestic T20 tournament.
A total of eight franchise-based teams will compete in this year’s NPL, with two matches scheduled daily. The first match will begin at 11:45 a.m., followed by the second at 4:00 p.m., according to CAN.
Out of 32 matches in total, 23 fixtures, including the final on December 11, will be played under floodlights, bringing a festive atmosphere to evening games at the Kirtipur ground.
