IME Limited Marks 25 Years with AGM, Outlines Expansion and Technology-Driven Remittance Plans

KATHMANDU: IME Limited held its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kathmandu on Tuesday, chaired by its founder and chairman, Hem Raj Dhakal. The meeting unanimously approved the company’s annual report, which highlighted IME’s continued growth as a leading player in Nepal’s remittance service industry.

Chairman Dhakal expressed gratitude to stakeholders and outlined the company’s vision for the coming years. “By leveraging technology and diversifying remittance services, IME aims to become a complete financial solutions provider,” he said, emphasising the company’s commitment to innovation and market expansion.

Chandra Prasad Dhakal, founder of IME Group and president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), noted that the company’s 25-year journey demonstrates its maturity and growing role in improving livelihoods and promoting entrepreneurship in Nepal.

IME’s Chief Executive Officer, Diwakar Paudel, highlighted the company’s focus on making remittance services more convenient, secure, and technology-driven. He expressed confidence that IME would continue to expand its footprint both domestically and internationally.

The AGM reflected IME Limited’s commitment to innovation, financial inclusion, and strengthening its position in the evolving remittance and financial services sector.
