KATHMANDU: Litmus Cables has joined Sudurpaschim Royals as the 'connectivity partner' for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
The agreement was signed on Tuesday in Kathmandu by Sanjeev Kumar Jha, Associate Vice President of Litmus Industries, and Prakash Khadka, chief executive officer of Sudurpaschim Royals.
Speaking after the signing, Sudurpaschim CEO Khadka said he was pleased to be associated with the country’s leading brand Litmus and that the partnership “will become a medium to build a good relationship with the Sudurpaschim team.”
Litmus Industries Associate Vice President Jha said the collaboration would help identify Nepal’s talent and empower the next generation of players. He added, “We support not only our products but also the promotion of national pride. This agreement is also in accordance with that.”
Established in 1977, Litmus Industries is Nepal’s largest wire, cable and conductor brand and has played a significant role in the country’s development for more than four decades. Operated under the leadership of Ramesh Corp since 2014, the company is the first and only publicly listed firm in its sector in Nepal.
