Gold price falls to Rs 241,700 per tola, silver to Rs 3,100 in domestic market
KATHMANDU: The impact of fluctuations in international gold and silver prices has affected the local market, with both metals falling compared with Thursday.
According to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), price of gold has decreased by Rs 1,300 per tola compared to Thursday, while the price of silver of the same quantity has fallen by Rs 85. Today, price of one tola of gold is set at Rs 241,700, and the price of silver is maintained at Rs 3,100 per tola.
According to international media, one ounce of gold is being traded at $4,062 in the international market today.
