KATHMANDU: Fluctuations in the international market, a gradual increase in price and changes in demand have caused the price of gold in the domestic market to rise continuously.
The price of one tola of gold has been set at Rs 247,900, and the price of silver at Rs 3,200 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA).
On Monday, the price of gold was Rs 242,700 per tola, while one tola of silver was traded at Rs 3,115; an increase of Rs 5,200 for gold and Rs 85 for silver per tola today.
According to international media reports, one ounce of gold is trading at $4,141 today and one ounce of silver at $51.
