Kathmandu: Kathmandu Valley experienced a minimum temperature of 5.0 degrees Celsius today (Sunday), the Weather Forecasting Division reported at 8:45 am. This marks a slight drop from Saturday, when the Valley recorded 5.3 degrees Celsius.
Colder conditions have been observed across the country in recent days. Meteorologists record both minimum and maximum temperatures daily, with minimum temperatures measured at 8:45 am and maximum temperatures at 5:45 pm.
According to the latest data, Jumla registered the country’s lowest temperature today at -2.1°C, while Nepalgunj recorded the highest minimum at 11.6°C. The ongoing cold spell continues to affect many regions, particularly high-altitude areas.
