KATHMANDU: Mercure Kathmandu Sukedhara Heights marked the festive season with a Christmas tree‑lighting ceremony titled 'A Ray of Hope', which it organised in collaboration with Fresh Nepal Kids.

The event offered children from Fresh Nepal Kids a joyful opportunity to experience and celebrate the magic of Christmas. The symbolic lighting of the Christmas tree represented hope, unity and the true spirit of the festive season. The celebration included surprise goodies and educational resource materials for the children. Chairman Desh Bandhu Basnet attended the event and interacted with the youngsters warmly and attentively. A young performer also showcased his talent during the event.
