KATHMANDU: Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, The Centara Collection, will open on January 1, 2026, as the first Thai luxury hotel brand in Pokhara. Perched on the hills of Kaskikot, the resort offers sweeping views of the Annapurna Range and Mt Machhapuchchhre and promises a blend of luxury, adventure and tranquillity.

The resort features 42 rooms, suites and villas designed with warm wooden accents, open skylights, private gardens or expansive balconies to accommodate couples, families and groups. Facilities include an all‑day dining restaurant celebrating local and regional flavours, a bar and lounge, an outdoor swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, a speciality Pan‑Asian restaurant and a scenic tea house.

Guests will be able to take part in curated experiences beyond the resort, from paragliding over Phewa Lake to the Annapurna Base Camp trek, or to unwind with yoga and wellness rituals at Cense by SPA Cenvaree and village walks along the Sarangkot Loop Trail.

To mark the launch, the resort is offering an opening package at Rs 25,000 nett per night on a bed‑and‑breakfast plan, with an additional 10% discount on food and spa treatments and complimentary afternoon tea until March 31, 2026. The offer is valid only for Nepali guests.

“We are thrilled to bring The Centara Collection’s luxury experience to Pokhara, a destination of extraordinary natural beauty and cultural richness,” said Prapaijit Thongma, General Manager. “As we welcome the New Year, this new dawn represents fresh experiences and adventure. We look forward to inviting guests to discover a different side of Pokhara—one that is beyond lakeside and seamlessly blends Nepalese‑Thai hospitality into a refined experiential luxury.”

The resort says it is rooted in a social‑enterprise ethos, supporting local livelihoods and community well-being by channelling economic value back into the region to create socio‑economic impact while delivering purpose‑driven guest experiences.

Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara is part of The Centara Collection and is located about 35 minutes from Pokhara. The resort combines modern comfort with Nepali design and Thai‑inspired touches and forms part of Centara Hotels & Resorts’ expanding international portfolio.
