SCT launches corporate internet banking service with Swift Technologies
KATHMANDU: Smart Choice Technologies (SCT) has launched a corporate internet banking service in collaboration with Swift Technologies, targeting corporate entities, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), mid‑corporates and large companies.
The service offers hierarchical approval mechanisms, transaction facilities via single and bulk uploads, maker‑checker processes, bill payments, payroll management and fund transfers, and features a user‑friendly interface, a simple configuration menu and customisable options tailored to business requirements.
Global IME Bank is the first bank in Nepal to integrate the service, offering it to customers under the name Biznex; the bank says Biznex provides a more convenient, secure and efficient digital banking experience for corporate and business clients, enabling automation and better organisation of daily financial activities and increasing the bank’s service capacity.
SCT currently issues SCT‑UnionPay and Visa cards through 23 banks and financial institutions and more than 100 cooperatives. In addition to card services, SCT provides Smart QR, Smart Pay – IBFT (inter‑bank fund transfer) and Smart Banking mobile services. The Smart Banking service, operated by SCT for three years, serves as the institution’s retail omnichannel, allowing customers in Nepal and abroad to access multiple banking facilities from a single platform.
