Gold hits Rs 270,600 per tola, silver Rs 4,835 as prices reach record highs
KATHMANDU: Price of gold and silver has risen continuously in the domestic market in recent weeks, reaching an all‑time high today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold is being traded at Rs 270,600 per tola (11.66 grams) today, while silver has been fixed at Rs 4,835 per tola.
Internationally, gold is trading at $4,530 per ounce and silver at $78 per ounce, according to media reports.
