KATHMANDU: Nomad Hotel is set to open a new property at Pokhara’s Lakeside this spring, the company announced. The opening will coincide with the brand’s sixth anniversary since its flagship hotel opened in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.
The expansion is being carried out by Le Sherpa Concept, the hospitality group that operates Nomad Hotel and currently manages nine hospitality and food projects across the Kathmandu Valley. With the new developments, the group will add four outlets — three in Pokhara and one in Muktinath — bringing its portfolio to thirteen projects.

The Pokhara development will include a Nomad Hotel alongside 'Piano Piano Restaurant' and 'Farm Shop', creating a mixed hospitality destination just steps from Phewa Lake. The project is designed to reflect Pokhara’s relaxed pace and growing appeal as a leisure destination, and is intended to welcome short-stay tourists, local visitors and long-stay guests.
Nomad’s Lazimpat hotel, which opened on October 31, 2019, has become known for minimalist design and people-focused hospitality. Located near Thamel and several cultural landmarks, the property has been a preferred choice for both international and domestic travellers seeking a calm, comfortable base in Kathmandu.

Separately, Le Sherpa Concept will open a new 'MTR (Mavalli Tiffin Room)' outlet in Muktinath, bringing South Indian vegetarian cuisine to one of Nepal’s major pilgrimage sites.
The group said the new openings reflect its focus on thoughtful growth, sustainable practices and investment in key tourism destinations across Nepal, with an emphasis on creating spaces that feel grounded, welcoming and connected to their surroundings.
