KATHMANDU: Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter has announced Prakriti Resort and Organic Farm as the sustainability experience partner for the 6th Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2026). The event is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from June 2 to 4.
Prakriti Resort and Organic Farm, located in Shivapuri National Park, will host the pre-mart familiarisation (FAM) tour for global buyers and international delegates, offering a first-hand experience of the resort’s sustainable tourism practices and mindful hospitality.
Described as “A Peaceful Getaway near Kathmandu”, the resort combines eco-luxury with organic farming and community empowerment, providing immersive experiences rooted in responsible tourism, environmental stewardship and authentic rural living.
As part of the partnership, delegates will be introduced to the resort’s sustainable operations and community-based initiatives, aligning with the Himalayan Travel Mart’s aim to promote Nepal as a sustainable and experiential tourism destination.
“Through this partnership, we aim to showcase how sustainability can be seamlessly integrated into hospitality and travel experiences that enrich both visitors and local communities,” said Suresh Singh Budal, CEO of PATA Nepal Chapter.
Organisers said the collaboration will highlight Nepal’s potential for responsible tourism and provide international delegates with practical examples of sustainable hospitality in action.
