KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Capital and The Startup Network Nepal have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The MoU designates NIC Asia Capital as the exclusive investment partner to boost investment access and accelerate the growth of high-potential Nepali startups.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will work together to identify, mentor and prepare promising startups for investment readiness, while facilitating structured access to capital, financial advisory and strategic growth support.
The partnership will focus on joint programmes, demo days, investment forums and curated deal-flow opportunities, enabling startups to scale sustainably and compete regionally and globally.
Representatives from both organisations said they are confident the collaboration will play a pivotal role in nurturing entrepreneurship and fostering innovation.
The alliance is intended to bridge the gap between innovative founders and institutional investors and to strengthen Nepal’s startup ecosystem, contributing to the country’s long-term economic growth.
