Gold price falls Rs 9,500 to Rs 295,200 per tola in domestic market

KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have slightly declined in the local market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of one tola of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 295,200 today, while the price for the same quantity of silver is fixed at Rs 4,980.

Compared with Wednesday, the prices of both metals have decreased. On Wednesday, the price of one tola of fine gold was Rs 304,700, and silver was Rs 5,600. Last Tuesday, one tola of fine gold was traded at Rs 290,300 and the same quantity of silver at Rs 5,335.

Meanwhile, according to international media, gold is being traded at $5,078 per ounce and the white metal at $90 in the international market today.
