SMART Growth Ventures to host 7th SMART Friday episode on capital market literacy

KATHMANDU: SMART Growth Ventures is set to host the seventh episode of its SMART Friday Insight Series this Friday, February 13, 2026. The session will focus on capital market literacy as the essential first step for responsible investing.

Organisers said the event responds to rising participation in Nepal’s stock market and concerns that many investors enter the market without a clear understanding of basic rights, obligations, risks and opportunities.

The keynote speaker for Episode–07 is Raj Kumar Timilsina, Executive Chairman of Vision Securities (Broker No. 34). Timilsina will deliver a practical, experience‑based presentation on why capital market literacy matters, what investors need to know, the roles of market institutions and how to make informed investment decisions.

The programme will be broadcast live on Google Meet and YouTube Live from 6: 00 pm to 8:00 pm. Organisers said the session will be particularly useful for new investors, mid‑level participants and anyone planning long‑term investments.

SMART Growth Ventures said the SMART Friday Insight Series is an ongoing investor education campaign with the objective 'Where Knowledge Meets Opportunity.' The series aims to make Nepali investors more literate, responsible and capable in the capital market over the long term.
