Sake and Feng introduces Newari cuisine to its menu at Lazimpat location

KATHMANDU: Sake and Feng, the pan-Asian fine-dining establishment on the sixth floor of Hotel Le Himalaya in Lazimpat, officially launched a new special menu featuring traditional Newari dishes on Tuesday.

The restaurant announced that all customers can now enjoy these authentic Newari flavours alongside its existing pan-Asian menu.

The introduction of the menu aims to fuse local flavours and cultural authenticity with a premium dining experience.

The decision to include Newari cuisine highlights the cultural richness of Nepal. Newari food is globally recognised for its unique spices, specific preparation methods and historical diversity. By utilising traditional spices and local ingredients, the restaurant seeks to preserve cooking styles passed down through generations while ensuring every dish remains healthy and flavourful.

Known for its pan-Asian offerings, Sake and Feng provides a range of facilities including indoor and outdoor seating, private dining and meeting rooms, a karaoke room and rooftop spaces. These amenities are designed to accommodate private functions, social gatherings and corporate events.
