Pokhara University to Graduate 6,622 Students at 21st Convocation

GANDAKI: A total of 6,622 students will receive their degrees today as Pokhara University holds its 21st convocation ceremony in Pokhara Metropolitan City-30, Khudi Dhungepatan.

The university confirmed that graduates from various faculties and academic levels will be awarded degrees during the ceremony.

According to Information Officer Lok Prasad Dhakal, the largest number of graduates 3,625 students are from the Faculty of Management. Similarly, 2,506 students are graduating from the Faculty of Science and Technology.

From the Faculty of Health Sciences, 365 students will receive degrees, while 126 students are graduating from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The convocation will also recognise academic excellence. The student securing the highest marks at the Master’s level will be honoured with the Chancellor Medal. The top-performing Bachelor’s level student will receive the Vice-Chancellor Medal.

In addition, the student achieving the highest score in the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme will be awarded the Oxford Medal.

The ceremony marks an important milestone for thousands of students as they complete their higher education and prepare to begin the next chapter of their professional lives.
