Kathmandu: Gold prices climbed sharply in the domestic market on Monday, rising by Rs 3,200 per tola to reach Rs 313,500, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
The fresh rally marks a significant jump from Sunday’s rate of Rs 310,300 per tola, signalling renewed momentum in the bullion trade amid fluctuating global trends.
Silver prices also recorded a notable increase. The precious metal rose by Rs 170 per tola, taking the price to Rs 5,595, up from Rs 5,425 a day earlier.
