Xiaomi expands after-sales network with new service centres in Nepalgunj and Dang

Kathmandu: Xiaomi has expanded its after-sales footprint in Nepal with the inauguration of two new authorised service centres in Nepalgunj and Ghorahi, Dang.

The facilities, located at Setu BK Chowk in Nepalgunj and Tulsipur Chowk in Ghorahi, aim to provide enhanced technical support to Xiaomi customers in the western region.

According to the company, the centres will offer repair, maintenance and technical services for smartphones, wearables such as smartwatches and fitness bands, hearables including earphones and headphones, as well as IoT devices. Genuine spare parts will also be available to ensure standardised servicing.

Operations will be managed by TeleDirect Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Ramesh Corp, which currently oversees Xiaomi’s authorised service network across Nepal.

To mark the launch, the two outlets will provide promotional after-sales offers for one month, including free servicing and software updates, discounts of up to 25 per cent on out-of-warranty spare parts and repairs, and a waiver on service charges for certain out-of-warranty parts.

Company representatives said trained technicians will be stationed at both locations to handle routine servicing as well as complex technical issues in line with official standards, as Xiaomi continues to strengthen its customer support network in Nepal.
