Kathmandu: Gold prices continued their upward march in the domestic market on Tuesday, climbing to Rs 314,800 per tola, marking a fresh increase of Rs 1,300 from Monday’s rate.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the precious yellow metal had already jumped sharply by Rs 3,200 per tola on Monday to reach Rs 313,500, up from Rs 310,300 on Sunday.
Meanwhile, silver prices saw a slight decline. Silver is being traded at Rs 5,585 per tola today, down by Rs 10 compared to Monday’s rate of Rs 5,595. On Monday, the metal had recorded a notable rise of Rs 170 per tola from Rs 5,425.
