Gold and Silver Prices Climb Again in Nepalese Market Amid Global Strength

Kathmandu: Gold and silver prices increased in Nepal’s local market on Thursday, continuing this week’s upward trend.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, hallmark gold has gone up by Rs 600 per tola compared to Wednesday. The new price of gold stands at Rs 315,400 per tola.

Silver has also seen a rise of Rs 10 per tola and is now being traded at Rs 5,725 per tola.

Earlier this week, gold was priced at Rs 314,800 per tola on both Tuesday and Wednesday, while it stood at Rs 313,500 on Monday. Silver has shown small daily fluctuations throughout the week.

In the international market, gold is currently trading at around US$ 5,190 per ounce, while silver is priced at about US$ 91 per ounce.
