Domestic flights will be operated on needs basis on polling day: CAAN
- International flights to continue except to Gulf countries
KATHMANDU: Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has said it will operate domestic flights on a needs basis on polling day, Thursday.
CAAN said all domestic services would run according to demand, while international flights would operate as normal except for those to Gulf countries. The authority also revised flight schedules in light of the situation at airports in Middle Eastern destination countries.
Several services have been disrupted following rising tensions in the Gulf region.
