Kathmandu: Proton e.MAS, operated by Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., has introduced a three-day ‘Sales and Exchange for Excellence’ scheme aimed at encouraging the adoption of electric vehicles.
The scheme is being held from Chaitra 6 to 8 at Hotel Tibet under the theme “Trade Up Today, Drive Excellence Tomorrow”. It allows customers to exchange old vehicles of any brand, with the company offering valuations above prevailing market rates.
Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors, said the initiative is expected to support the growth of Nepal’s electric mobility sector while promoting environmentally sustainable transport solutions.
According to the company, the Proton e.MAS 7 is equipped with a 160 kW motor, 180 mm ground clearance, and an NEDC-certified range of 492 to 585 kilometres. The vehicle measures 4,615 mm in length and features modern safety systems alongside a premium design.
Customers purchasing vehicles during the scheme will receive additional benefits, including special cash offers, financing options, one year of free road tax and insurance. The company has also announced gifts for customers who participate and make bookings during the event.
