KATHMANDU: On the first trading day of the week, the prices of gold and silver have decreased in the domestic market, according to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA).
The price of gold has declined by Rs 12,500 per tola (11.66 grammes) and has reached Rs 282,000, according to FENEGOSIDA.
It fixed the price of silver at Rs 4,540 per tola, a decrease of Rs 355 per tola. Gold was traded at Rs 294,500 per tola and silver at Rs 4,895 on Friday.
According to international media, the price of gold has been set at $4,500 per ounce and silver at $68 per ounce in the international market today.
