KATHMANDU: Vaidya's Organization of Industries & Trading Houses (VOITH), the official distributor of Toyota vehicles in Nepal, has announced a partnership to bring the Italian premium motorcycle brand Morbidelli to the Nepali market.
VOITH, a long-established business house with nearly five decades of experience in the automobile sector, said the move is part of an aggressive expansion into two-wheelers after successfully managing Toyota sales in the four-wheeler segment. The group previously introduced premium electric scooter brand Ather to Nepal, a launch VOITH credited with re-establishing its presence in the two-wheeler market.
Morbidelli, which operates globally under the Keeway Group alongside brands such as Benelli and Benda, is known for premium design, powerful engines and a racing heritage. VOITH said the brand will target Nepalese youth and motorcycle enthusiasts by offering a high-end riding experience and plans to roll out various models across a nationwide dealer network in the near future.
Through the new partnership, VOITH aims to set new benchmarks in Nepal’s premium motorcycle segment and expand its distribution footprint across the country. The company did not disclose specific model launch dates or pricing, saying only that multiple Morbidelli models will be introduced soon.
