SPG Automobiles launches Jaecoo J6T in Nepal at Rs 6.69m introductory price

KATHMANDU: SPG Automobiles, the authorised distributor for Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles in Nepal, officially launched the all‑new Jaecoo J6T today. The rear‑wheel‑drive model is priced at Rs 6.899 million (MRP) and is being offered at a limited‑period special launch price of Rs 6.699 million.
The company held a grand unveiling attended by Managing Director Sandeep Kumar Sharda, Director Gaurav Sharda, customers, media, influencers and guests from the automotive community. SPG said the event marked the official debut of the J6T in Nepal and underlined the model’s positioning as a rugged, adventure‑oriented electric all‑roader.
The Jaecoo J6T is powered by a rear‑mounted motor producing 220 Nm of torque and is fitted with a lithium iron phosphate CATL battery that delivers a claimed driving range of 431 km. The model offers a best‑in‑segment ground clearance of 225 mm and rides on 19‑inch tyres designed for varied and rough road conditions.
The boxy, muscular J6T measures 4,433 mm in length, 1,916 mm in width and 1,741 mm in height, with a 2,715 mm wheelbase. Interior and convenience features include a 15.6‑inch central touchscreen, a 9.2‑inch instrument panel, a 50W wireless charger and an eight‑speaker audio system.
SPG highlighted improvements over the Jaecoo J6, noting that the J6T increases ground clearance from 200 mm to 225 mm and extends driving range from 400 km to 431 km. The company said the J6T builds on the J6’s foundation by offering “enhanced ruggedness, bold styling, and superior driving dynamics designed for adventure and tough roads.”
The new J6T is now available at all Omoda and Jaecoo official showrooms and dealerships across Nepal. SPG Automobiles said the launch is part of its strategy to strengthen its footprint in Nepal’s rapidly evolving SUV market and to continue delivering products that emphasise confidence, adventure and performance.
