KATHMANDU: Suzuki has launched the all-new Access 125 BS6 OBD-2B in Nepal.
The company announced the model is available immediately at all authorised Suzuki dealerships across the country. The firm said the scooter, long the top seller in India’s 125cc segment, will now be offered to Nepali riders with updated emissions compliance, a refined powertrain and a refreshed colour palette.
The latest Access 125 is powered by a 124cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that meets BS6 OBD-2B on-board diagnostic standards. Suzuki stated the engine produces 8.3 bhp and 10.2 Nm of torque, a combination the company says delivers a smooth and responsive ride suited to both urban streets and highway conditions in Nepal.
Suzuki is offering the Access 125 in five colour options sourced from the Indian line-up: Solid Ice Green, Pearl Shiny Beige, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White and Metallic Mat Black. The firm said Solid Ice Green is the signature shade for the new model, while the other finishes range from retro-premium to bold matt tones.
Key specifications include a kerb weight of 106 kg, a 5.3-litre fuel tank and both electric and kick-start options. Suzuki has highlighted the scooter’s comfort and reliability as reasons for its sustained popularity in the 125cc category.
The company said customers can visit their nearest authorised Suzuki showroom for pricing, test rides and information on colour availability. The Access 125 BS6 OBD-2B is available immediately at dealerships nationwide.
The Access 125 has been India’s best-selling scooter in the 125cc segment since its debut. Suzuki said the new generation continues the model’s focus on comfort and refined performance and aims to set a new benchmark in Nepal’s scooter market.
