KATHMANDU: inDrive has concluded its fourth Platinum Drivers Giveaway in Nepal, awarding a TATA Xpres-T electric cab and a TVS Raider bike to the top-performing driver partners at a ceremony in Kathmandu.
The three-week campaign ran from December 15, 2025, to January 4, 2026 and recognised drivers who consistently maintained Platinum status based on performance and service-quality indicators. Winners were chosen from those who met the eligibility criteria across all three weekly challenges.
The grand prize in the cab driver category went to Tum Bahadur Thapa Magar, who received a TATA Xpres-T EV. The grand prize in the bike/moto rider category was awarded to Ashesh Magar, who won a TVS Raider. Both drivers were selected from a pool of participants who sustained Platinum status throughout the campaign.
In addition to the two mega prizes, inDrive distributed a range of weekly rewards to celebrate more driver partners. Prizes included 15 Redmi Note 14 5G smartphones, 30 Ultima Atom 192 Bluetooth earbuds, 30 Ultima Circle smartwatches and 1,500 petrol vouchers.
Expressing his gratitude, Tum Bahadur Thapa Magar said, “I am truly grateful to inDrive for recognising our hard work and dedication. Maintaining Platinum status requires consistency, discipline, and a commitment to providing the best service to passengers every day. Winning the TATA Xpres-T EV is not just a personal achievement but a motivation to continue delivering quality service. This reward has encouraged me to aim even higher in my journey with inDrive.”
Rider partner Ashesh Magar said, “It feels incredible to be selected as the grand prize winner. The Platinum Drivers Giveaway campaign pushed me to improve my performance and maintain service standards throughout the challenge period. Receiving the TVS Raider is a proud moment for my family and me. I thank inDrive for creating opportunities that genuinely appreciate and uplift driver partners like us.”
Sunita Jeemi Rai, Senior Driver Operations Specialist at inDrive Nepal, congratulated the winners and outlined the company’s intent behind the campaign. “Our driver partners are the heart of inDrive’s success in Nepal. We never want to miss an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our driver partners. To honour this commitment, we launched the Platinum Driver Giveaway as a way to reward their efforts. We are truly happy to see how this campaign has supported our drivers, changed lives, and helped them take control of their own income. We look forward to bringing more beneficial and exciting campaigns and rewards for our driver partners in the future.”
inDrive said the giveaway is part of broader efforts to recognise and support driver partners, whom the company described as “the foundation of our community,” and to promote fairness and choice on its platform.
The company, which operates in more than 1,000 cities across 48 countries, said the inDrive app has been downloaded hundreds of millions of times and offers services beyond ride-hailing, including intercity transport, delivery and financial services. inDrive has set a goal of positively impacting one billion people by 2030 through its core business and impact programmes.
