MALEKHU, DHADING: The Ichchhakamana section of Malekhu-Muglin road along the Prithvi Highway will be completely closed to traffic for six hours each night for three days from today.
The movement of all types of private and public vehicles, except for essential services such as ambulances and fire engines, will be halted from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am, said Chiranjibi Sharma, Assistant Chief District Officer of Chitwan.
The closure is part of road‑upgrading work under the Muglin‑Nagdhunga Road Project. Night‑time traffic is being suspended until April 2 while upgrading is carried out at Ghoptebhir and other locations in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality‑4 of Chitwan.
The administration has urged travellers to contact Road Planning Information Officer Sachin Mishra (9849544607) and Police Inspector Pratik Singh (9855090120) at the Area Police Office, Muglin, about any inconvenience passengers may experience during the road closure and for further information and updates.
