KATHMANDU: ZTE Corporation has launched the RedMagic 11 Pro in Nepal, calling it 'the highest rated gaming phone ever.'

The device is priced at Rs 164,999 and will be sold across the country through authorised national distributor Jagadamba Mobiles. It will be available on 0% EMI schemes, and customers who pre-book will receive Rs 5,000 cash back and a complimentary RedMagic gaming console valued at Rs 20,000.

The RedMagic 11 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and ships with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, with options to expand up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The phone features a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 95.3% screen-to-body ratio and a notchless full-screen design, along with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The device weighs 230 g.

To support extended gaming sessions, the RedMagic 11 Pro includes a 7,500 mAh battery with 80 W ultra-fast charging. ZTE highlighted an advanced cooling system that incorporates a 13,116 mm² vapour chamber, liquid-injected cooling and double-sided heat-conduction technology, which the company says improves heat dissipation by 50%. The phone also offers Bluetooth 5.4 and other connectivity optimisations.

Camera hardware comprises a triple rear setup with a 50 MP primary sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP auxiliary sensor, while the front camera is 16 MP. The device carries IPX8 water resistance for added durability.

The RedMagic line, a premium gaming sub-brand under ZTE’s nubia portfolio, targets esports and mobile gaming enthusiasts. ZTE said the launch reflects the brand’s global expansion and responds to growing demand in Nepal for specialised, high-performance smartphones.

Sabin Shrestha, CEO of ZTE Nepal, said, “The introduction of the ZTE RedMagic 11 Pro marks a significant step in the company’s global gaming strategy” and expressed confidence that the device will strongly resonate with Nepali gamers seeking uncompromised performance and innovation. ZTE also emphasised Nepal’s position as a dynamic and fast-growing market and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the country’s digital evolution with advanced technologies.

Saksham Jatia, Executive Director of Shanker Group and Jagdamba Mobiles, said the official introduction of the RedMagic brand in Nepal addresses the rising demand for high-performance gaming smartphones and that the RedMagic 11 Pro is designed for non-stop gaming sessions, delivering a flagship-grade experience tailored for serious gamers.

ZTE said the launch is part of its broader effort to expand its presence in Nepal by introducing advanced, user-focused technologies for a mobile-first generation.
