Gyan Masala appoints actress Swastima Khadka as first brand ambassador
KATHMANDU: KL Dugar Group’s prominent spice brand, Gyan Masala, has appointed actress Swastima Khadka as its first brand ambassador.
The group said the move is part of a strategic effort to refresh the brand’s identity and engage the next generation of Nepali consumers. Gyan Masala, established in 1989, is said to be a leading spice brand within the group’s wider FMCG portfolio.

The group said Khadka’s contemporary appeal and screen presence align with Gyan’s blend of tradition and modern values. The actress, the company added, has pledged to represent the brand’s values and help elevate its reputation for quality and purity across the country.
As part of its growth strategy, Gyan Masala is expanding its product range with new spice variants tailored to changing consumer preferences. The brand currently offers 14 variants.
Gyan products are widely available across Nepal through an extensive distribution network, making its spices accessible to households nationwide.
