KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has rescheduled its 60th annual general meeting (AGM) and elections.

The move follows an interim order from Patan High Court that forced the postponement of the originally planned dates. The AGM and elections, which had been set for April 12-13, 2026, were deferred following the court order.

At a meeting of FNCCI Executive Committee on Friday, members decided the events will now be held on May 4-5.

The executive committee also fixed a follow-up meeting to review preparations and related matters. The committee will reconvene on April 22 to finalise arrangements ahead of the rescheduled AGM and elections.

FNCCI officials said the change was made to comply with the interim order and to ensure the orderly conduct of the federation’s electoral and annual proceedings. Further details on the agenda and logistical arrangements are expected to be released before the newly scheduled dates.
