Leapmotor launches 'Leap Care' in Nepal, offers 11-year extended battery warranty

KATHMANDU: Leapmotor has launched 'Leap Care' in Nepal, offering an 11-year battery warranty and low-cost financing to make electric vehicle (EV) ownership more accessible.

Under the theme 'Take a leap with confidence,' the initiative combines a long-term battery guarantee with the most competitive financing rates in the market.

The programme’s main feature is an 11-year battery warranty, which the company says is among the longest in the industry. Leapmotor said the warranty aims to show the reliability of its battery technology and to ease customer concerns about battery life. It covers the vehicle’s battery for more than a decade and reduces the risk of unexpected costs.

Leap Care also offers cheaper purchase terms. Customers can pay a 15% down payment and access a 5.96% interest rate. Leapmotor said these terms will lower monthly payments and help more Nepali buyers switch to EVs.

The offers are available now at all authorised Leapmotor showrooms across Nepal. The company said the programme is part of its mission to provide high-quality, intelligent electric vehicles with long-term value and customer support.
