Qatari Ambassador calls on FM Khanal

KATHMANDU: Qatar’s ambassador to Nepal, Mishal Mohammed Al Ansari, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal at the Ministry on Thursday.

The two exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest, including labour migration, partnership in hydropower and agriculture, tourism and investment promotion, the MoFA said.

Hon. Foreign Minister Mr Shisir Khanal received Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nepal, H. E. Mr Mishal Mohammed Al Ansari at the Ministry today.

They also discussed plans to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Qatar, the MoFA added.
