KATHMANDU: Huawei officially launched the Huawei Band 11 series in Nepal on April 15, unveiling a new generation of smart wearables aimed at health, fitness and everyday wellbeing. The rollout was accompanied by an experiential event, 'Run with the Beat' — Powered by Huawei, held in collaboration with Meltdown.

The launch coincided with the start of the Nepali New Year 2083. Huawei said the morning gathering, which fused fitness, music and technology, attracted a wide range of participants and showcased the Band 11 series in an active, real‑world setting.

The company said the Band 11 series is designed as a "smarter health and fitness companion", offering a suite of monitoring and wellness features. Key capabilities highlighted by the company include comprehensive sleep tracking with heart rate (HR), blood oxygen (SpO₂), heart rate variability (HRV) and breathing insights; continuous 24/7 heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring; and more than 100 workout modes with smart tracking.

The devices also provide stress and emotional well-being monitoring with guided breathing exercises and promise up to 14 days of battery life. Huawei emphasised the Band 11’s lightweight, stylish design for all‑day comfort and said the wearables integrate with the Huawei Health App to deliver personalised insights for performance, recovery and overall wellbeing.
