LALITPUR: Sparrow SMS (Janaki Technology) will again deliver Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2083 (2026) results directly to students’ mobile phones, continuing a partnership that began in 2010.
National Examinations Board (NEB) plans to publish SEE results by Tuesday, May 12, and Sparrow SMS said its high-capacity 35001 short code is ready to handle the expected surge in traffic. The company said the SMS channel will allow more than 500,000 students to access their scores without the delays that often follow overloaded websites.
Sparrow SMS traces its role in Nepal’s result-checking system to 2010, when it introduced a text-based service that works on any mobile device and does not require internet access. The company said that innovation helped students who previously relied on newspapers, long trips to cyber cafés, or overwhelmed official sites to learn their results more quickly.
Manoj Thapa, CEO of Sparrow SMS, said, "For 16 years, our mission has remained the same: to provide peace of mind on what is often the most stressful day for a student. By using the 35001 shortcode, we ensure that whether a student is in the heart of Kathmandu or the most remote village in the Himalayas, their future is just one text message away."
Once the NEB makes the official announcement, students and parents can check SEE 2083 results by sending an SMS. The company outlined the steps: open the Messages app, type SEE <space> [Symbol Number], and send it to 35001 (for example, SEE 12345678A to 35001).
Sparrow SMS, which marks its 16th anniversary this year, is an enterprise messaging platform and an official Meta Tech Provider. The company said it serves more than 8,000 organisations, including government bodies, banks and educational institutions, and provides services ranging from earthquake alerts to labour permit verifications and exam results.
