KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) today submitted its full budget period review report for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27 to Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle.
NRB Governor Dr Biswo Nath Poudel handed over the report to Finance Minister Wagle at a meeting in Kathmandu.
The document provides an assessment of the country’s economic and financial situation to assist the government in preparing its annual budget.
Under the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058 (2002), the central bank is required to present such a report to the Government of Nepal for use in budget formulation. The submission marks a formal step in the lead‑up to the government’s budget planning for fiscal year 2026/27.
