KATHMANDU: Xtreme Energy Drink has launched a promotional campaign, 'Gold in Scan', that gives customers a chance to win a gold ball during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Under the scheme, consumers who scan the QR code printed on Xtreme cans and submit their details will be entered into a lucky draw. The company said three winners will each receive a gold ball. The campaign began on May 15 and will run throughout the World Cup match schedule.

The company said the campaign aims to link the global excitement of the World Cup with the Nepali market and to increase engagement among football fans and young consumers. It added that the initiative is intended to combine entertainment, participation and the prospect of tangible rewards.
Previously, the beverage company has run several youth-focused promotions, and it expects the new campaign to generate further interest in the market.
