KATHMANDU: Midea has launched a new double-door refrigerator, model MDRT294FGG28NP, in the Nepali market. The company says the move aims to meet rising consumer demand for appliances that combine modern design, convenience and energy-efficient performance.
The 210-litre unit is aimed at small- and medium-sized households and uses Direct Cool Non-Inverter Technology to maintain effective cooling. The appliance also features Easy Mechanical Temperature Control for straightforward adjustments.
The company highlights several user-friendly functions intended to simplify daily use. A Spacious Big Cooling Zone is designed to keep fruits, vegetables and other perishables fresh for longer, while a One Touch Defrost System and Low Frost Technology reduce ice build-up and ease cleaning and maintenance.
Durable tempered glass shelves are fitted to support heavier items, and the refrigerator includes a convenient egg and ice tray. Midea has said the model operates with low-noise performance to avoid disturbing the home environment.
To support product reliability, Midea is offering a two-year warranty on the refrigerator and a ten-year warranty on the compressor. The extended compressor warranty is intended to reinforce consumer confidence in the product’s longevity.
Midea products are distributed in Nepal through CG Electronics and already include washing machines, microwaves, air fryers, kitchen appliances, fans and heaters. The company says its range is gaining popularity in Nepal for modern technology, energy savings, strong performance and durable quality.
