KATHMANDU: Titan, one of the world’s leading watch and lifestyle brands, has marked 22 years of presence in Nepal. The celebration, organised by its authorised distributor Nepal Trade Network (NTN), also saw the company announce Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt as its official brand ambassador for the Nepali market.

The ceremony in Kathmandu was attended by Jitendra Sinha, Head of the SAARC and Africa Region, International Business Department (IBD), at Titan Company, who served as the chief guest. The event opened with a traditional lamp-lighting ritual led by Sinha and brought together about 40 dealers, business partners and Titan representatives from across the country.

On the occasion, Sinha thanked Titan’s customers, dealers and the NTN team for their support and said Nepal has become one of Titan’s most important international markets after India, with the brand’s popularity and value growing steadily nationwide. Announcing Alia Bhatt as Titan’s brand ambassador for Nepal, Sinha said her modern outlook, global appeal and strong connection with younger audiences would strengthen Titan’s image and deepen engagement with Nepali consumers.

As part of the anniversary activities, Titan unveiled a special 20% discount on all Titan products for the month of Asar as a gesture of appreciation to customers.

Top-performing dealers were recognised during the event, with awards presented to the Top 10 dealers for their contributions. Managers of the newly opened Exclusive Brand Outlets in Butwal and Narayangadh also received special recognition, underlining the company’s retail expansion in Nepal.

With the addition of the Butwal and Narayangadh stores, Titan now operates 10 retail outlets across Nepal, including locations in Durbar Marg, Jawalakhel, Dharan, Biratnagar, Simara, Birgunj, Narayangadh, Butwal, Ghorahi (Dang) and Pokhara, the company said.

Attendees were also introduced to an OTT series titled 'Made In India: A Titan Story,' which charts the company’s journey, innovation and achievements. Speaking about future plans, Sunil Kumar Agrawal, Managing Director of NTN, said the company aims to open three more showrooms across Nepal by 2026 and remains committed to expanding Titan’s reach while improving customer experience and after-sales service.

Since entering the Nepali market in 2004, Titan has grown into a recognised brand across watches, smartwatches, fashion accessories and lifestyle products. The company reiterated its commitment to delivering quality, innovation and service to Nepali consumers.
