Purnayu Ayurved Hospital, Chirayu Dent Care honoured at Global Excellence ceremony in Dhaka

KATHMANDU: Two private health institutions from Nepal were honoured at the 3rd Global Excellence Honour 2026 ceremony in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

At the ceremony in the Bangladeshi capital, Purnayu Ayurved Hospital received the Global Excellence Healthcare and Ayurvedic Leadership Honour for its work in the Ayurvedic medicine sector. Meanwhile, Chirayu Dent Care clinic was awarded the Global Excellence Best Dental Honour for its contributions to dental health.

Parshuram Chauhan (Pralhad), managing director of Purnayu Ayurved Hospital, said the honour acknowledged the hospital’s efforts to establish an identity for Ayurvedic treatment, service and dedication. “The honour recognised the hospital’s efforts to establish an identity for Ayurvedic treatment, service and dedication,” he said.

Sagar Joshi, managing director of Chirayu Dent Care, said the award recognised the institution’s use of modern technology and commitment to quality service. “The award was presented in appreciation of their outstanding contribution to the highest utilisation of modern technology and quality of service,” he said.

Joshi noted that Chirayu Dent Care has provided modern, technology-based treatment services since its inception and credited experienced specialist doctors and a patient-friendly treatment system for the institution’s success. He said the honour was an inspiration and recognition for Nepal’s dental health sector as a whole.

He added that the institution organises health camps across multiple locations in Nepal, provides comprehensive dental and oral health services, and plans to expand those efforts. Joshi also highlighted regular free dental camps in rural and urban areas, public awareness campaigns on oral health and hygiene, and a focus on underserved communities under the institution’s corporate social responsibility programme.

According to Joshi, these multidimensional contributions have attracted the attention of the international jury and demonstrate that Nepal’s dental care is ready to compete with established institutions in the South Asian market.
