Industry ministry launches dashboard to publish registration data

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies launched an official Dashboard on Monday to make information on its activities publicly accessible.

The Dashboard offers real-time updates on daily company registration, industry registration and firm registration, the Ministry said. It aims to simplify public access to data on the status of registration and operation of industries and companies.

Until now, the Ministry said, it was difficult for the public to obtain such registration and operational data; the new platform will allow users to view those details more easily.

From the upcoming fiscal year, the Dashboard will also include province-level registration information.

The Ministry’s secretariat said the Dashboard provides access to the information technology systems of the Department of Industry, the Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection and the Office of the Company Registrar. For agencies that do not have IT systems, the platform will make their details available through a 'Dynamic Form'.
