KATHMANDU: Experts have urged Nepali musicians and artists to develop technology skills and make greater use of digital platforms as information and communication technology reshapes creative professions.

At an event organised by the Cultural Studies and Research Council on Saturday, trainer Rajendra Aryal urged artists to learn how to monetise their work on music streaming services and to distribute audio and video content via platforms such as TikTok and Facebook.

The programme was attended by actors Khadga Garbuja, Narahari Premi, Tika Pun, Ram Kumar Karki, Baikunth Mahat, Govinda Madhur Acharya, Rajkumar Rayamajhi, Ishwari Bhusal, Bishnu Khatri and musician Shashi Sharma Majgaiya.
