MUSTANG: The government plans to develop the Korala roadway along the Kaligandaki Corridor into a tourism highway, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Paudel, said on Sunday.
Minister Paudel made the remarks during a discussion organised by the District Administration Office on tourism development in Mustang, saying the route from Bhairahawa in the south to Korala in the north will be upgraded as a tourist corridor. He said tourism generated by the corridor would contribute to the national economy and added that the government has also prioritised improvements to the Mustang-Dolpa road.
