KATHMANDU: President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Masato Kanda, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Balendra Shah today.
The meeting took place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) in Singha Durbar. Discussions focused on promoting good governance, economic reforms and infrastructure development in Nepal, Deepa Dahal, the Prime Minister’s press and research adviser, said.
The ADB president, who is currently visiting Nepal, also met Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle on Monday.
The Government of Nepal and ADB on Monday signed a concessional loan agreement of about Rs 25 billion, equivalent to $165 million.
