KATHMANDU: Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel marked its 7th anniversary by carrying out a corporate social responsibility initiative at Om Disabled Child Care Home in Syuchatar.
The hotel donated essential food supplies, hygiene products and medical care items to support the daily needs of the home, which cares for 35 children and young adults aged between 3 and 16. Hotel associates also contributed clothing, groceries, toys, books and other essentials.
Vikram Singh, General Manager of Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel, said, "At Aloft, we believe that hospitality extends far beyond welcoming guests—it is about creating meaningful connections with the communities we serve. Supporting Om Disabled Child Care Home is a reflection of our commitment to making a positive impact where it matters most. I am incredibly proud of our associates for coming together with such generosity and compassion. Through small acts of kindness, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children and young adults, and we hope this initiative inspires others to do the same."
