MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA: Bukayo Saka scored a hat-trick as England beat Kylian Mbappé and France 6-4 in a wild World Cup third-place match on Saturday.

Mbappé scored twice to set a new World Cup career-goals record with 22, one more than Argentina’s Lionel Messi. The France star also moved two ahead of Messi in the race for the Golden Boot, awarded to the tournament’s top scorer. Argentina play Spain in Sunday’s final.
