KATHMANDU: Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Morocco in Nepal is set to organise a special exhibition highlighting Moroccan culture, history and tourism on Sunday, August 2, to mark the National Day of Morocco.

The event will run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and offer free entry to all visitors. The showcase aims to promote Morocco’s cultural heritage and tourism to the Nepali public.

The exhibition will feature Moroccan cuisine, musical performances, traditional pottery, Moroccan-style décor, tourism information and a dedicated travel desk. According to the consulate, the event will introduce Moroccan art and tourism to Nepalis, strengthening cultural ties and people-to-people links between the two countries.

Megha Chaudhary, Honorary Consul-General of the Kingdom of Morocco to Nepal, said the initiative will help deepen bilateral relations. "I believe that this exhibition will not only serve as a venue to introduce Morocco's art, culture, and tourism to the Nepali people, but will also further strengthen bilateral relations, cooperation, trade, and tourism exchange between Nepal and Morocco," she said.
