EU Ambassador Veronique Lorenzo pays farewell call on Speaker Aryal
KATHMANDU: European Union (EU) Ambassador to Nepal Veronique Lorenzo paid a farewell courtesy call on Speaker of the House of Representatives Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal on Tuesday.
The meeting took place at the Speaker’s office in the Federal Parliament Secretariat at Singha Durbar. Discussions covered Nepal‑EU relations, parliamentary cooperation, economic partnership, development cooperation and other matters of mutual interest, according to the Speaker’s personal secretariat.
Ambassador Lorenzo thanked the Government of Nepal, the Federal Parliament and the Nepali people for the support and goodwill extended during her tenure and expressed confidence that friendly ties between Nepal and the European Union will continue to strengthen.
